W.F. Valentine & Co. is a family owned and operated company whose reputation and century-long heritage are its greatest assets. In 1880, a dedicated horseman named W.F. Valentine devoted himself to perfecting a new product which would prevent and treat hoof problems. So he set out to make the transportation of the day, more reliable, and have healthier hooves. Proud of the product's high quality and effectiveness, Mr. Valentine was not afraid to put his own name on the label. He named it, quite simply, Valentine's Hoof Ointment.™
